Flyon Sports Confirms 34,000 m² Artificial Turf Package for Expo 2027 Belgrade

SHENZHEN, China — 2 November 2026 — Flyon Sports (Shenzhen Flyon Sports Co., Ltd.) has confirmed an order for 34,000 m² of artificial turf for Expo 2027 Belgrade in Serbia, supplied as a single integrated package across the Expo grounds.

The package covers landscape, rooftop and decorative turf applications across the site, and is being handled end to end by Flyon Sports — design, supply and installation — rather than split between separate suppliers.

Expo 2027 Belgrade is a Specialised Expo running from 15 May to 15 August 2027, with the theme "Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All." The event is expected to draw participating nations, international organisations and visitors from around the world to the Serbian capital, and its grounds combine exhibition pavilions, public realm, hospitality areas and landscaped open space.

One specification standard across a multi-zone site

Large-venue turf programmes typically fail at the seams between packages: one contractor specifies the landscape zones, another the roof terraces, a third the decorative features — and the result is visible variation in pile height, colour, backing and finish across areas visitors walk through in sequence.

For Expo 2027 Belgrade, Flyon Sports is supplying all 34,000 m² against a single specification and a single point of accountability. That means consistent colour and texture logic across landscape, rooftop and decorative zones; one logistics plan feeding a live construction programme instead of several uncoordinated deliveries; and one installation team responsible for the finished surface, not for the boundaries of its own scope.

The scope also reflects the mixed technical demands of the Expo grounds. Rooftop and podium-level landscaping carries weight, drainage and wind-uplift constraints that differ sharply from ground-level public realm. Decorative areas are judged visually, at close range, by visitors rather than from a distance. Landscape zones must hold up under sustained foot traffic across a three-month event and beyond.

From a single product line to a full venue package

The order extends Flyon Sports' position as a one-stop supplier of sports venue solutions rather than a single-category manufacturer. The company's portfolio spans stadium seating, telescopic stands and bleachers, turf protection and event flooring, sports flooring systems, running tracks, benches and shelters, and padel and tennis court packages — the same catalogue logic that lets a venue buyer source an entire facility, not a parts list, from one supplier.

That breadth is the practical argument behind this award. Expo-scale projects are assembled against fixed opening dates, and every additional supplier adds a schedule interface, a specification negotiation and a warranty boundary. Consolidating 34,000 m² of turf into one contract removes all three.

"Thirty-four thousand square metres is not a product order — it is a delivery programme," said Joe, Flyon Sports. "The client is not buying turf. They are buying certainty that every square metre of the Expo grounds is specified to the same standard, arrives on schedule, and is installed by the people who specified it. That is the part of the job we are built for."

Delivery and installation will be phased against the Expo construction programme ahead of the 15 May 2027 opening.
