Schedule and Venues for the 15th China National Games in 2025 Fully Announced:Shenzhen Main Venues Ready

As November approaches, preparations for the 15th National Games have entered the final sprint

phase. As the main host city, Shenzhen is joining hands with Hong Kong and Macao to present a

sports and cultural spectacle of "international standards, Chinese style, and Bay Area characteristics"

with a "vibrant, green, smart, open, and inclusive" attitude.

I. City of Innovation,Sets New Benchmark for "Smart National Games

As the first National Games jointly hosted by the three regions of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao

Greater Bay Area, Shenzhen, a forefront of technological innovation in China, is deeply integrating

the concept of "smart technology" into all aspects of the event. It is reported that the main venue,

the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center "Spring Cocoon," has completed its intelligent upgrade and will

extensively apply 5G, artificial intelligence, and IoT technologies. From event management and venue

operations to the spectator experience, technology will play a central role. Spectators can use AR

guides for easy access, receive real-time athlete data, and even experience "multi-angle free perspective"

viewing for certain events. The Mayor of Shenzhen stated at a recent preparatory meeting: "We will

make the 15th National Games a highly technological and forward-leading sports event."

II. Core Venue Clusters: Modern Facilities in Line with International Standards

The venue layout for these Games reflects the principles of "compact efficiency" and "post-event utilization."

The competitions will be held across 14 venues, including the Shenzhen Universiade Center, Shenzhen

Bay Sports Center, and Shenzhen Sports Centre.

III. Competition Schedule: Three Stages Spanning the Golden Autumn

1.Stage 1 (Nov. 9 - Nov. 12): Preliminaries and Qualifiers

2.Stage 2 (Nov. 13 - Nov. 18): Final Rounds:This is the stage where the most gold medals will be decided.

3. Stage 3 (Nov. 19 - Nov. 21): Finale:The last three days will see the climax of the major ball games finals.

IV. Collaborative Hosting: Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Sharing the Glory

The Games are jointly hosted by the three regions of the Greater Bay Area. In addition to the main

Shenzhen Division, Hong Kong will host some equestrian and sailing events, while Macao will host

some wushu (martial arts) and e-sports demonstration events. The three regions have established

efficient coordination mechanisms for transportation and security to ensure seamless movement for

participants and spectators.

Currently, all major venues in Shenzhen have completed test events, and the facilities are operating
well. Shenzhen is ready to welcome athletes and guests from all over the country with first-class venues,
